Have a skier or snowboarder on your list, but stuck for gift ideas? How about an attractively presented gift basket filled with goodies for the next time they hit the slopes?
Depending on your budget, you can choose to present your gift in a wicker basket or hamper, a duffel bag or boot bag.
Step2
Line your basket with a fleece throw blanket. It won't only present your gift beautifully, it will be useful for the skier or snowboarder warming up apres ski.
Step3
A gift certificate to their favourite ski resort or ski shop is a nice touch. If you can splurge on a lift ticket, they'll be eternally grateful! If you're working with a smaller budget, you could leave this out as there will be plenty of other goodies to please your winter sports enthusiast.
Step4
Snow sports are a cold business, so why not include gloves, hand/feet warmer packets and thick waterproof socks in your basket?
Step5
The cold can wreak havoc on skin. Include suncreen, lipbalm and moisturiser in your basket to keep your recipient free from chapping and burning this winter.
Step6
A snack for the slopes is always much appreciated. Packs of trail mix, a tin of nuts and a bar or two of chocolate will help them replace all those calories they have used.
Step7
Don't forget apres ski when planning your basket. A hot chocolate mix and slipper socks will warm them up in the evenings. For larger budgets, include a mug, hot toddy mix or slippers.
Step8
A disposable camera is of use to anyone: sporty or not. Including one in their gift will allow them to record their next trip to the slopes!
Step9
Arrange your gifts in hamper, wrap in clear cellophane and add thick ribbon to make it perfect.
