1
Choose a focal point wall. This would be where the bed's headboard is going to be leaned against.
-
2
Mark the center of the focal point wall and then mark the top and bottom with pencil to get the center of the wall. Mark a vertical line on it. Draw a perpendicular line or horizontal line that would meet at the center by marking the left end and right end of the wall. Where these two lines meet would be the center.
From the center, measure equal square grids. Use painter's blue tape to mark grids on the focal point wall. Create big square grids in 24" x 24" size each. Mark a small 1-inch square on each corner of the grid.

3
Paint the grids in contrasting color from that of the wall, then paint each corner squares with another color so that it shows.
-
4
Using a stencil plastic, make a circle the same size of a small bike that can fit inside the square grids. Gut out the circle to create the round stencil.
You can also use a protractor to make a circle mark using pencil tied with strings to make the round shape.
Better yet, create a round template using the bike wheels as your guide then cut with an even round outline. Once the circle is cut, you can trace the outline of the circle on the walls.

5
Paint the inside of the circle using a similar color used on each small squares on each corner to complement the color. Use a different one if you want more colors on the wall.
-
6
Once the paint is dry, add hooks to hang your bike wheels. Limit the bike wheels to the top two rows and three columns at the center where the headboard is going to be. Ensure that the hooks are secure by putting a little weight. Drilling this through the studs will insure that they are secure.
-
7
Place the bed right below the wheels by leaning the headboard or head of the bed against it. Use a bedding that would go with the colors used in the room.
Add pillows and shams.
-
8
Add one bedside table or night stand on each side. Place matching lamps on each side. You can use lamps that have the art deco design or if you can find any lamp with a model of a bike as the base that would be a good option too!
-
9
Add accessories such as picture or photos in frames with bike theme. A photo of the bike lover while riding a bike can be blown up in poster size, then framed and hung on the opposing wall.
Other accessories would be model or miniature bikes, biking gears, bike helmets and medals or trophies won in bike competitions if there are any. if there is enough room, a real bike can be hung on the opposing wall using wall hooks.

Add an area rug in a color that complements the color used in the room to add warmth to your bike lover's bedroom. Place the rug right under the foot of the bed.
