Fill in enough information about yourself. The more you reveal you will be chosen to be part of the group.

Show honesty in your opinions in the focus group. Most of your answers will come from in depth questions so say as much about the product your evaluating that you have enough knowledge in.

Remember that you will not make big bucks doing a hour long study. There will even be at time that you will be paid--just only consider for a study so that is the only reward you will receive.

Tips & Warnings
Do not participate in one too many research groups that you can count. It can be possible that you will not participate in any study for at least a year.
Do not bother top apply to another company that is not seeking people to evaluate anything. If you do, consider yourself banned from all groups.
