If your children have played the same matching game so much it’s no longer a challenge, try something new. Pull out some photographs of their ancestors – those who were long gone before the kids were born – and introduce them.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A deck of cards Glue stick or thinned white glue Old photographs of family members A copy machine (or computer, scanner and printer)
Step1
Select up to 26 photographs of family members. Clear head shots work the best.
Step2
Make two copies of each photograph selected for the game. Reduce them to fit the cards in the deck so that edges are flush, or cut them to fit.
Step3
Glue pairs of each photograph to the numbered side of the cards.
Step4
Let dry flat, and enjoy watching your kids “match” their ancestors.
