How to Make a Beautiful Seaside Candle Arrangement

You can bring a touch of the seaside into your décor by creating a beautiful seaside candle arrangement. (Gathering the items for this project will probably take you more time than it will to assemble and complete your candle arrangement.) I have my arrangement in my family room and somehow the glow from the candle surrounded by items from the sea give me a feeling of calmness as I enjoy the beauty of the candlelight and seashells.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Glass container - I used a large apothecary jar
• Sand
• Seashells
• Sand Dollar
• Star Fish
• Sea Glass
• Pebbles
• Scented candle
• Small glass plate to put the candle on

1. Assemble all of the necessary items:
   Glass container - I used a large apothecary jar
   Sand
   Seashells
   Sand Dollar
   Star Fish
   Sea Glass
   Pebbles
   Scented candle
   Small glass plate to put the candle on

2. First put some sand in the bottom of your container (approximately an 1" - 1 ½" of sand) you may choose to use regular sand or colored sand.

3. Next put the small glass plate and candle in your container. You can also just use a scented candle that comes in a glass container instead.

4. Next arrange your seashells and other items in the sand. Your arrangement is complete.

Tips & Warnings

• This really makes a nice arrangement. As a precaution don't put anything too close to the candle and follow your normal safety precautions when it comes to candles. If you happen to take a vacation to the shore and collect shells while vacationing, this would be a great remembrance of that vacation.
