How to Clean a Beanie Baby

Beanie Babies should never be placed in the washer, but you can still keep them looking new.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Mild dishwashing liquid- Ivory or Palmolive are good.
  • A spray bottle
  • Water
  • Damp cloth
  • Dry cloth
  • Nylon brush
  1. Step 1

    In your spray bottle, mix 1 tablespoon of dishwashing liquid with 8 ounces of water.

  2. Step 2

    Spray the entire surface of your beanie baby lightly. Do not saturate your toy!

  3. Step 3

    Wipe the beanie baby with a damp cloth. If there are areas that are still soiled, lightly spray those areas and allow to sit for five minutes before rubbing with a damp cloth.

  4. Step 4

    After the toy is clean, blot throughly with a dry cloth. Try to get as much moisture out of the beaning baby as possible.

  5. Step 5

    Allow the beanie baby to completely dry, then brush the toy to restore the nap of the fur.
