How to prepare a travel kit

When you travel have you ever wished you had a little piece of
home, the pieces that make you comfortable? Well you can. You
can create your very on travel kit. Depending on the space you have
available, you can make your kit as big or as simple as you want.
Whether you are traveling in a car or on a plane. Just think of the things
you use at home the most or use our list.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Plastic container with lid (size depends on how much you choose to carry)
  • Instant coffee or tea bags of your choice
  • Creamer packets/sugar packets
  • Water flavor packets
  • Bottle water
  • Instant hot cereal packets
  • Snacks of your choice
  • Small Bottle of Dish Liquid
  • Small candles/air fresheners
  • lighter/matches
  • disinfectant spray
  • anti bacterial hand wash
  • paper towels
  • facial tissues
  • Set of queen/King sheets and your favorite pillow
  • (depending on your rooms bed size)
  • Extra Wash Clothes
  • Dirty laundry bags (cloth is recommended/plastic can cause mildew)
  • Don’t forget the picture of your favorite loved ones at home to place by your bedside.
  1. Step 1

    Upon arrival at your distination, put your own sheets on the bed.
    Put your picture by your bed side. Freshen the air.

  2. Step 2

    Put away your snacks and drinks.

  3. Step 3

    Relax and enjoy your trip knowing that you have a room that feels and smells like home!

Tips & Warnings
  • Most all room have a coffee pot/microwave/refrigerator Some have kitchenettes. Know ahead of time and you can make your list to adjust accordingly. After returning from your trip restock your kit with the non perishable items, clean linens and bath items and your ready to go again the next time. You may have even discovered more items to add.
  • Do not leave burning candles unattended!

  • Plane Items vary and can not be in carry on luggage.
  • Keep in mind the amount of luggage you are allowed to check
