Step1
The first and the most important step is to make a list with all necessary preparations for the holidays, including cooking, gifts, beverages, entertainments and so on. Once you've made that list, be sure to keep following its steps. Write the activities you’re supposed to do, the date and hour; this will keep you very organized. Don’t panic when you see how many things you got to do, if you take one at a time, you’ll make it!
Step2
Don’t leave gift shopping on the last minute. Be receptive at the wishes of the closest ones; this way you’ll know exactly what is going to make them happy. Make sure you don’t forget someone, check your list twice, you don’t want to be caught unprepared right the day before holidays.
Step3
You want to cook your delicious holiday’s recipes. Great! Do you have the time? Make sure you have! Write down what you need and the estimated time for the cooking, you don’t want your guests find you in the kitchen stirring the gravy, right? So, be very organized with the food, that’s an important step in celebrating holidays.
Step4
Let others help you. Of course you know always what the best is, but don’t refuse someone’s help just because you doubt their abilities in helping you. Give them confidence!
Step5
Make time for yourself. You want everybody to flatter you telling you how tasty the food is, but you also want to be admired. So relax a little bit, take a nice aromatic bath with oils and bubbles. Use one of those remarkable beauty products that make miracles while you are sleeping. You feel beautiful, you look beautiful.
Step6
You forgot to send greeting cards to friends and family? Don’t worry, an e-mail or an e-card will do all the work; it’s a little bit impersonal, but better this way than no way.
Step7
If children are involved in your holiday celebration party, be sure you rent some of those new animated movies. They’ll keep them preoccupied with something, while you mingle, making sure your invitees are having a good time.
Step8
Buy gifts for all the guests; pack them in nice holiday wraps and arrange them with stile on the table. Don’t spend a lot of money on insignificant big gifts; instead choose something small and personal. You can find amazing things in Antiques stores.
Step9
Make a wish! That’s it! If you follow these steps your survival through this year’s holidays will be a success.
