Step1
Continually pray about opportunities to share God’s truth from the Bible. Be steeped in God’s word so that it permeates through you.
Step2
They may say that Jesus was a god, but not the Almighty God. Use these scriptures:
*John 1:1 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
* Hebrews 1:3 says, "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."
* Romans 1:4 says, "And who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord."
Step3
If they say that Jesus was the son of God, but not God himself, share these scriptures:
* Matthew 1:23 says, “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means, 'God with us.'"
* John 20:28 says, “Thomas said to him, ‘My Lord and my God!’"
Step4
If they say that Jesus was not equal to God because he was sent, share with them these scriptures:
* 1 John 5:20 says, "We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."
* John 12:45 says, "When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me."
* Revelation 1:5 says, "Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits before his throne, 5and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth."
* Revelation 1:8 says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."
Step5
Pray that they may come to know the truth.
