How to cook Chicken Adobo

When got divorced ten years ago, I was forced to cook and learn some easy Filipino dishes. My first one was Chicken Adobo.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Thirty pieces of chicken wings (cut pointy tips) enough for a family of four
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup of vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. of Bay leaves
  • cloves of garlic to taste preferance
  • 1/2 tsp. of ground pepper or pepper corn
  • Large pot with cover

Step1
Wash chicken, chop garlic, crumple half a handful of bay leaves.
Step2
Place chicken in pot, add a cup of water, a cup of soy sauce, and a cup of vinegar. Add the garlic, bay leaves and pepper. Let cook for about 70 minutes on medium heat setting with cover on, so, it doesn't dry up.
Step3
Serve with rice and enjoy!

  • May cause friends to continue coming to your pad for more.
