• Physician
• Qualifying illness

1. Open the newspaper and look through the classified ads to find a physician who writes medical marijuana prescriptions.

2. Make an appointment with a physician.

3. Describe your symptoms/illness. Conditions which, by law, can be treated with medical marijuana include AIDS, cancer, chronic pain, anorexia, glaucoma, and arthritis. If you don't suffer from any of these conditions, tell your physician that you sometimes get painful migraines and the only thing that works to alleviate your pain is marijuana.

4. If your physician doesn't write you a prescription, repeat the process with a different doctor.

on 9/11/2008 I have crps, post rotator cuff tear and impingment i continue to lose 10 lba a week, the only way i can eat is if i smoke, I tried looking through the classifieds which was mentioned above and am having a hard time, also when my mom was dying of cancer she would take a few puffs and be able to nibble on something it sustained her life until she died two days after my sons b-day! ciggaretts should be banned and pot should not and im a smoker!
