-
Step 2
Next see that you get a resume and a headshot. A headshot is just a professional photo of you taken by a photographer. You need to get at least 200 of them at first because you will be mailing to alot of casting directors. So these are very important factors of your acting career.
-
Step 3
After that you will not have an agent or a manager yet. Few amateurs do. Get a resume format from google with the keywords Acting Resume Format. After you do this get a list of casting directors and start mailing your resume and headshots along with a brief cover letter telling what project this is for and the role. Also include a thank you card. After all of this after a month or two follow up with a postcard with your photo on it. Lastly persevere. In this industry you have to have a tough shell to make. Remember it is a business and it is not all glamour, Good Luck!

on 12/19/2007 You will go to a photo house and get them copied. The photographer only prints out a proof sheet for you to pick a picture. And then he prints the picture you picked once and you have to go get them copied!
