Everyone loves the beach! Only the rich can afford it as often as they want. A pleasant alternative is to throw a "Wish We Were There" beach party.

• Seashells
• Tape

1. Personal Invitations Make personalized invitations.
2. Poolside Party Be sure to host the party where there is a pool. (Most activity at the beach is centered around the hotel pool anyway.)
3. Beach Decorations Make a multitude of "beach" decorations to put around the pool area. Hibiscus flowers, hula dolls, etc. Get a talking parrot. Have colorful table covers and top them with "beach theme" napkins, plates, etc.
4. Memories to Take Home Make homemade party gifts for take-home memories. Get cardboard paper, make a pouch, tape or staple together, and add seashells. Get some beach sandal necklaces. They're a big hit! Look online and find the Hawaiian names of all your friends and put them in a book to find.
5. Everyone Bring a Dish Have everyone bring a dish, and BYOB (bring you own bottle).
6. Washer board game (and Purtygirl) Make sure you have a washer board game there. It entertains everyone all day long. (The guys started around 12:00 that day and were still playing 11:00 that night!)
