Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Access to the Internet
  1. Step 1

Have students choose a famous person they admire.

  2. Step 2

Discuss why they admire the person they've chosen.

  3. Step 3

Have students write a list of five questions they would ask this person if they could.

  4. Step 4

Have students write a letter to this famous person describing themselves, explaining their admiration and asking the questions they've always wanted to ask.

  5. Step 5

Proofread the letters and send them off. You'd be surprised how easy it is to get a celebrity's email address. Search the Internet for official websites, or send the letters via email to the television networks, movie studios, record companies, or sports teams with which the celebrities are associated. You'll likely receive some kind of response.
