How to Play the Vocabulary Game

1. Divide the class into two teams: Team A and Team B.
2. Have each team pick a representative.
3. Position the two teams in front of the classroom board with their representatives in chairs facing them.
4. Write a vocabulary word on the board.
5. The teams take turns giving one-word clues describing the vocabulary word to their representatives. They cannot actually say the vocabulary words themselves.
6. After five clues, the representative who correctly identifies the word wins a point for her team. If no one identifies the word, no one wins a point.
7. Rotate representatives after every word until all the vocabulary words for the week have been correctly identified.
