How to Wrap Presents in a New and Unique Way
While there are plenty of very pretty gift wrap papers available, wrapping a square box in paper and adding a card can get boring. With a little imagination, you can liven up the gift packaging you give to others. Once you get started thinking of new ways to wrap gifts, you’ll see ideas in a variety of items you have around the house.

1
Insert the gift into the cardboard roll that held paper towels or toilet tissue. Wrap a piece of paper around it, with at least a couple inches hanging over each end. Gather each end together and wrap with a piece of ribbon to create present that looks like a piece of Christmas candy.

2
Wrap your present in the traditional manner. Add a strip of felt around the center so that some of the paper shows on each side. Tie a ribbon around and tie a bell on in the middle. This works well for small stocking stuffers.

Wrap your present in the traditional manner. Place your card on top of the present, then wrap the entire thing again in translucent paper, adding a little confetti before you tape the clear paper shut. The card and confetti will show through the translucent paper.

Wrap a paper in a grocery bag for an old-fashioned look. Use a brown paper grocery bag turned to keep the name of the grocery store on the inside. Wrap with a piece of twine. It's easy, simple and clean.
