How to Review Prepositions

Now that you've taught your class all the prepositions in alphabetical order (you did that, right?), here's a fun activity to keep that order fresh in their minds.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

How to Review Prepositions

Step1
Have students stand in a circle around the classroom.
Step2
Choose a student at random, and have her say the first preposition in order.
Step3
Going clockwise around the room, take turns saying the next preposition in sequence.
Step4
When one student breaks the sequence, she has to sit down, and the sequence begins again.
Step5
Give a reward to the last student or students standing. I use inexpensive candy, but cold, hard cash might work well also.
