How to Find Bargain Makeup

1. Check your local discount and drug stores for sales and clearance items. Many drugstores, such as Walgreen's, offer buy-one-get-one sales, especially around the holidays. Stores also mark down items if new colors or lines are about to be introduced.
2. Check you local dollar stores. A lot of makeup at the dollar stores is off-brand, but you can find national brands, too. There are discontinued colors and items where the packaging has been updated, but the product is still in good shape.
3. Check the Internet. A whole host of sites has sprung up offering discounted make-up. E.L.F. has a website where all makeup is one dollar. It is also possible to find small brand mineral makeups, such as Everyday Minerals, for much less than nationally advertised brands.
4. Visit department store makeup departments for free gifts with purchase. Many of these gifts have a value much higher than the minimum purchase required. This is a great way to try new products.
