It doesn't take a lot of money to give your home a facelift. Take these steps to a fresh look for your home

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Rent or borrow a power washer and carefully clean the outside of your home including the windows. Make sure you don't take off any existing paint!
Step2
Give your foundation and cement walls a fresh coat of paint.
Step3
Remove all clutter from your front yard and porch. Put toys, tools, and unused furniture away. The absence of clutter makes your home look cleaner.
Step4
Paint the front door. A color that complements your home or even plain white will do wonders. Paint any shutters as well.
Step5
Don't forget the yard! Trim shrubs and bushes. Weed any flower beds even if the flowers are long gone. Rake up any sticks and leaves in the yard. Cut the grass and whack the weeds.
Step6
Add a few large pots of flowers on your porch or near the bottom of your steps. Enjoy!
