When planning a wedding there are quite a few things to consider. As the bride’s family usually hosts the wedding, they need to consider many factors when it comes to out of town guest. It is essential for the groom’s family to have transportation, accommodations, and a well planned schedule.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

Step1
Find out the total number of guests as well as their relationship to the groom. Make a list of names, phone numbers, and addresses for later use.
Step2
Take the list of names, phone numbers, and addresses and begin writing out a detail list of accommodations near the wedding. This will help the groom’s out of town family feel welcome. Also, it shows your interest in the family staying at a quality hotel, condo, while visiting.
Step3
Ask each guest when and where they will be arriving. This will help you to accommodate the guest when they arrive. If guest needs help with transportation this is you plan to arrange rides.
Step4
When the guest decides where they will be staying you can then begin making gift baskets to welcome them to the area. These baskets will thank them for traveling to your wedding. They should also include an area map, directions to all the events, phone numbers, and any other important information that will help make their stay more enjoyable.
Step5
Last but not least, enjoy your time together. The groom's out of town family may only make it to town once. This only happens once in a lifetime so make sure to take it all in!
