How to Make a Chocolate Mint Martini

If you are looking for a cocktail that tastes like a dessert, look no further. This yummy drink will remind you of melted chocolate chip mint ice cream— or Girl Scout’s Thin Mint cookies!

Things You'll Need:

• creme de menthe
• creme de cocoa
• half and half
• martini shaker
• ice

1. Purchase supplies. Go to the liquor store to buy one bottle each of crème de cocoa and crème de menthe. Crème de menthe often comes clear or tinted green—definitely buy the green! You will also need to stop at the grocery store for a carton of half and half (available in the dairy section)

2. Get a martini shaker. If you don’t already have one, it’s a worthwhile investment. Martini shakers can be purchased at liquor stores, discount stores or department stores.

3. Mix together equal parts of crème de cocoa, crème de menthe and half and half in martini shaker filled halfway with ice. Example: use 2 ounces of each ingredient for a total of 6 ounces. Use a measuring cup tor a shot glass to accurately measure

4. Shake the martini shaker until mixture is combined.

5. Pour mixed drink into martini glasses and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings

• Don’t try to cut calories by skimping on the half and half. This is definitely not a diet drink and using anything less will affect the taste.
