Sometimes, it's the name. Sometimes, it's the connections. Sometimes, it's a few insider tips. We can all go from D-list to A-list at the hottest clubs and restaurants. These steps will help raise your chances of getting into night life hot spots like Le Deux in Los Angeles and Rao in New York City.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Dress the part. Put on something classy that looks expensive or retro ... image is everything for these hot spots and you have to look like you are important enough for them not to ignore you.
Step2
Valet your car. Exiting your vehicle (unless it doesn't fit the image of your clothes) in front of the door is another way to establish your importance. If your car isn't hip, hire a classy cab service to take you to the restaurant.
Step3
Walk confidently. Don't look around waiting for someone to stop you at the door. Strut a little, even--have fun with the arrogance.
Step4
Tip everyone well. Start with the valet. If the bouncer stops you, slip him a tip. The hostess cant get you a table? Try a nice bill.
Step5
If you succeed and get yourself a booth at the hottest hot spot in town, make sure you ask to meet the house manager. Build a relationship with the staff so that they remember you when you come back!

Tips & Warnings

  • Don't freak when or if you see celebrities. It's a dead giveaway that you don't belong.
  • Don't be a jerk: arrogance does not have to equal rudeness! You want the staff to remember you well, not remember to never let you back!
