If you're forgetful at the office or in the classroom, it can cause a lot of embarrassment. So, is it possible to improve your memory? If you want to improve your memory or just get to know yourself a little better, try to discover your "memory type."

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Do you remember best by reading a list or looking at something? Good at remembering faces? You're a "looker" memory type. Try to visualize what you want to remember.
Step2
Prefer hearing instructions as opposed to reading? Better at remembering names than faces? You're a listener. Try saying things softly to yourself out loud in order to remember them.
Step3
Recall things based on your mood at the time? Your memory changes with your emotional state? You're a feeler. You're most receptive to self-suggestion, so remind yourself to remember things. Also, try ghostwriting in the air what you want to remember, since feeling the movement will help you.

Tips & Warnings

  • Try and do memory exercises for a few minutes every day to improve your memory.
