Things You'll Need:
- Something to draw a hoof print
- Some cracked corn or popcorn
- A few pieces of carrot
- A small piece of red velvet
- A couple of jingle bells
- A penned list
- Your imagination

Step 1
Now, about those flying reindeer. Usually they land on the roof but occasionally they wander down onto the balcony, patio, or grass. That's where you can find hoof prints. You can create hoof prints by drawing them in the snow (if it happens to snow) or maybe they just happened to step in the mud (if you are where it doesn't snow.) Just use something pointed to make an impression of a reindeer's hooves.

Step 2
Those flying reindeer do get hungry and Santa always brings some food along to feed them. So, close to those footprints sprinkle some corn (it could be cracked corn or even pop-corn) and some pieces of carrot.

Step 3
But how do they know that Santa was there? Santa is in such a hurry and he has to squeeze in some pretty tight spaces that he tore his suit: a small piece of red cloth (velvet would be perfect) left behind would surely prove that he was there. You might also want to leave a jingle bell or two. If you are really creative, pen a list of good little boys and girls (make sure your child's name is on the list) and make it appear to have torn off of the bigger list. Proof positive that Santa was there!
