This is the most effective way I found discovered to cure a hangover.

This has worked numerous times when I have had anywhere from 4 to 10 lite beers.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Highball glass
  • V-8 Juice
  • Organic Lemonade
  • Water
  • Ibuprofen
  1. Step 1

Drink water in between your alcohol, and use the bathroom as much as possible. Before going to sleep, take two Ibuprofen and make sure your legs are slightly elevated while sleeping.

  2. Step 2

It is now the next morning! Wake up, use the bathroom, take another two Ibuprofen tablets, and then grab a highball glass and fill it full of cold V-8 juice. You can chug or sip, that's up to you, just make sure you drink it all.

Two glasses would be even better.

  3. Step 3

Fill a thermos full of organic lemonade (less sugar the better), and sip on this through the day.

Use the bathroom as much as possible.

This is one of the best methods for destroying a hangover I've ever experienced.

Tips & Warnings
  • Taking a shower as cold as you can stand it helps.
  • Avoid hot showers
  • Avoid lots of sugar and caffeine!!

on 1/19/2008 Not 10 lite beers! That is some girly ish. If you really get hammered and need a hangover cure, drink a redbull, eat some Hawaiian rolls and take some pain killers. You'll be golden as long as you hydrate all day.

Or you can just drink a beer.

on 12/14/2007 The best thing you can do is to keep yourself hydrated. If you've been drinking, then try drinking something like Gingera antacid before you go to sleep. The sodium in the effervescent Gingera will help your body hold onto fluids, helping to prevent a hangover the next morning.

If you do feel awful in the morning, drink it again. The ingredients in it will help again to keep you hydrated plus sooth your stomach and settle any queaziness you might have.

I know if you enter "freeship" at checkout on Gingera's site, you won't be charged for shipping. It's also available at medichest.com and in stores.
