How to Add a Header or Footer in Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word lets you create documents for a variety of purposes. Business documents and letters benefit from the flexibility offered by Microsoft Word to customize a document as needed. A header lets you insert contact information, a company logo and other personal touches. A footer may serve the same purpose, or provide identification for a document. Inserting a header or footer in every page of a Microsoft Word document only takes a few moments.
