How to Find a File on Your Computer

Everyone should know how to find a file or folder on their computer. These simple steps will show you how.

Things You'll Need:

• Computer

1. 
    
   Start Menu Button

   Left click on the "Start" Menu. Located on the bottme left hand side of your screen.

2. 
    
   Find> Files and Folders

   In the start menu- left click on "Find". Then left click on "Files and Folders"

3. In the "Find all Files" Box, where it says "Named" Type in what you are searching for. Example; "eHow"

4. 
    
   Find all files Box

   Where it says, "Look in" left click on the down arrow, then scroll down until you get (C:) for the C Drive.

5. Left click on "Find Now"
