How to Make an Exotic and Delicious Turkey Curry

It's almost time for Thanksgiving. Bring a bit of Eastern spice into your holiday cooking with a great turkey recipe that would make a great addition or substitution for the holidays.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 small finely chopped yellow onion
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 2 tsp red curry paste
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups chopped turkey breast
  1. Step 1

    Heat oil over medium heat. Add onion, garlic and ginger. Saute for golden brown and aromatic.

  2. Step 2

    Add curry paste, fish sauce, coconut milk and chicken broth.

  3. Step 3

    Bring to a boil, then lower to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes, then add the chopped turkey.

  4. Step 4

    Let cook until turkey is tender.

  5. Step 5

    Once dish is ready, serve in a bowl and garnish with a sprig of parsley or mint.

Tips & Warnings
  • Serve with jasmine rice
  • Use all low-fat or sodium free ingredients for a healthier version
