How to Litter Box Train Your Kitten

Every kitten needs to be litter box trained. Having delt with litter training 6 kittens myself, I found this method to be the easiest.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Litter
• Litter Box
• Your Kitten(s)

1. Once your kitten is able to walk around, or is at least 6 weeks old, it's time to start litter box training.

2. Fill your kittens litter box 3/4 full with cat litter.

3. Pick your kitten up and place him/her in their litter box. Let him/her get used to the feel of the litter.

4. For about a week randomly place your kitten in their litter box. If you see him/her trying to go to the bathroom, take him/her to their litter box immediately.

5. By the end of the week, your kitten should be very familiar with their litter box, and get into in on their own.

Tips & Warnings

• If need be repeat Step 5 for a few more days.
• Kittens like to play in the litter box.
