Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Throw out the clutter that you don't need.
Step2
Organize your space. Extra clutter and randomly thrown together objects not only create a disheveled appearance but they are also toxic to your thinking process. A mess can sit on your chest and stifle all your creative juices.
Step3
Create a list of what you like, what colors make you happy, what scents seem to add energy and what music helps you think.
Step4
Look around your office. Do you see areas that beg to be filled? Table space that screams for a plant life? Keep those areas in mind.
Step5
Decide what mood you want to create in your office.
Step6
Keeping what you like in mind, find objects that represent your likes. A creative collage in your favorite colors might spruce up the room. Find colors that fit the mood of your room. Light colors relax you. Bright colors add life and energy but can also be stressful at lethal dosages. Find what works for you.
Step7
Bring aromatic sprays to your office. Find scents that make you happy and inspire creativity. Spray moderately so as not to overwhelm your coworkers.
Step8
Bring music to your office. Put on a classical collection or a dance beat, whichever gives you a sense of wellbeing and helps you pass the time more productively.
Step9
Add unusual pieces to your room. It may be that ceramic pot from Greece or that bamboo fan from China. Exotic pieces add pizzazz to your office and make you feel like a citizen of the world.
Step10
Post pictures of people that have been successful and inspire admiration.
Step11
And most importantly-every office needs inspirational quotes. Post them in a place that is readily accessible to your eye. Refer to them every time you need a boost. Inspiration will follow.
