How to Get a Free Wedding from WE TV

Would you like a television network to pay for your wedding? If so, and you live in the Los Angeles area, you might want to apply to WE TV for their new, untitled wedding reality show. Of course, there's a catch. The network will choose one lucky couple for an all-expenses-paid wedding, but the network will choose the theme for the wedding.

Things You’ll Need:

• An open mind. The folks at WE promise that their winning couple will receive an "out of the box" wedding.

1. Go to the WE TV website and look for the "Casting" bar at the top of the home page. Click on that and it will take you to their casting page. The top casting notice is for their new, untitled wedding show.
2. Download their application and fill it out online. Among other things, the producers want to know what five characteristics describe you, a description of your dream wedding and location, your idea of "a wild night out on the town," and a description of how you each get along with your in-laws.
3. Once you complete the application, choose a recent photo of yourselves as a couple or take a new digital photo and load it onto your computer. Since WE accepts your application via an email attachment, make sure you have a recent digital photo that you can also attach.
4. Email both the application and the photo, along with your names, contact phone numbers and emails, and a statement about why you should be chosen, to: [e-mail].

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure your application is filled out completely and creatively. The producers look for well-written, unusual and creative applications.
• When you give yourself over to a TV show, remember that the shooting will take time and is likely to be intrusive, and that you will at least partly surrender your own wedding preferences.
