Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 9 Lasagna Noodles
  • 1 Jar of Spaghetti Sauce or Homemade Sauce
  • 16 oz Ricotta Cheese
  • 16 oz Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 16 oz Shredded Colby and Monterey Jack Cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • 1 LB Hamburger
  • 13x9 Baking Pan
  • Strainer
  • Stock Pot
  • Water
  • 3 qt Pan
  • Ladle
  • Rubber Spatula
  • Tinfoil to cover pan
  1. Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Fill the Stock Pot with water. Bring water to a boil. Boil Lasagna noodles according to package directions. Brown hamburger in three quart pan. Drain any grease. Add the jar of spaghetti sauce, bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer.

  2. Step 2

After the Lasagna noodles are done boiling, drain into a strainer. Run cold water over Lasagna noodles(this helps prevent them from sticking together).

  3. Step 3

Spread enough spaghetti sauce into the bottom of the 13x9 inch pan to lightly cover the bottom. Place three Lasagna noodles on top of the sauce. Spread half of the Ricotta cheese over the noodles with a rubber spatula. Sprinkle Mozzarella, Colby and Monterey Jack cheese over Ricotta. Spread some more spaghetti sauce over the cheese. Top with another layer of Lasagna noodles. Spread the rest of the Ricotta cheese over the noodles. Sprinkle with some more cheese. Place the remaining Lasagna noodles on top of cheese. Pour remaining sauce over the Lasagna noodles. Sprinkle with Parmesan and remaining cheeses. Cover with tinfoil.

  4. Step 4

Bake Lasagna for thirty minutes, covered. Remove tinfoil and bake an additional fifteen minutes. This helps the cheese to brown on top.
