How to Be A Good Gym Member

Exercise is here to stay and joining a gym has practically become a post-modern rite of passage. However, before you plunk down the plastic and navigate your way past enough computers to make Judy Jetson blush, you might want to consider what you can do to enhance survival amid all that aerobicized anatomy.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Willingly share the equipment (just because you’re bigger doesn’t mean you get to hog the machines)
Step2
Clean up after yourself (e.g. wiping up sweat puddles on the LifeCycle and returning your weights to their proper place). Follow gym rules (even if that means you must use collars)
Step3
Give the cell phones a rest, please. Every time you feel the urge to dial, remind yourself that half the humans on the planet have never made a single phone call. Finally, if you must converse in the middle of the free weight area while surrounded by a few hundred of your closest friends, don’t try to impress everyone but speaking in the loudest possible voice.
