How to fix car audio distortion with your mp3 player

This is a quick and easy fix if you are experiencing bad sounding audio from your mp3 player while connected to your cars audio system

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Your mp3 player
  1. Step 1

    Connect your Mp3 player to your vehicles car stereo input.

  2. Step 2

    Turn on some music. once it starts to play and distort, start turning down the volume on your mp3 player until the static stops.

  3. Step 3

    Now that you have a quiet, clean sound- slowly turn up the volume up on your stereo until you have a nice loud sound. Take note of the volume level on your mp3 player. This is going to be the correct volume setting when using your mp3 player in the car.

Tips & Warnings
  • turning your stereo up to loud while distortion is present can blow your speakers.
