Things You'll Need:
- Oatmeal
- Spinach
- Protein powder
- Chicken/Turkey Breast
- Lean Ground Meat

Step 1
The best way to lose weight is to exercise. No one can argue with that. But it helps when you start off your day with oatmeal. Oatmeal is easy to prepare and cheap. So have a bowl of two cups' worth of oatmeal. It's easier to have oatmeal when it's still warm, before it absorbs all the liquid since once its solidified, it's just that much harder to swallow.

Step 2
Have a salad for lunch with chicken breast. In fact, if possible at all, try to have another bowl of oatmeal during lunch. Make sure to a large serving of spinach with your salad. Two cups' worth would be good.

Step 3
Stop eating any carbohydrate after 3pm. This is so that your body will burn all of the carbs you have eaten from the morning. You can eat several servings of protein if you wish throughout the day.

Try to drink at least one gallon of water from the time you wake up till you hit the bed. Your muscles and organs need water for nourishment.

Step 5
Supplement your diet with protein powder. It's filling and has very few calories. Whenever you have the desire to eat or snack, have two servings' worth of protein. That should sate your appetite somewhat.

Do not consume simple sugars at all if possible. Stay away from saturated-fat laden foods.

Have a good night's sleep. If you need to go to the gym, go in the evening, and go for a light workout. Run for at least 20 minutes. Do light weights. If you feel you can go further, than do so, but don't push yourself.
