At any University of Michigan football game, the cheer you are most likely to hear repeatedly in the crowd is the school's fight song. Called "The Victors," the song was written in 1898 by Louis Elbel after a football win in Chicago, according to the university. Learn the song's chorus before you attend a home game in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and you'll fit right in with the thousands of other fans at the stadium, known as "The Big House."
