We all could use some extra money. We also all could use some great prizes. A fun way to possibly win either of these or maybe even both, is to enter some sweepstakes or some contests. Don't shake your head and say I never win these things, I don't have a chance to win. Everyone has a chance to win and if you factor in a little bit of luck and a little bit of sweepstakes no how into the equation your odds of winning will increase.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • A computer
  • Pens
  • Envelopes
  • Stamps
  • An email account

Step1
Enter many contests. You can find these everywhere from your neighborhood stores, to local newspapers, charity fundraisers and even online at many sites.
Step2
Fill out your forms neatly and legibly. If the people who are running the contest can't read your contact info, they can't get in touch with you to claim your prize. For certain, make sure they can read your name and phone number. If it is an online contest, your email address is also very important.
Step3
If you want to enter many online sweepstakes and contests, obtains a free form filler such as Roboform (www.roboform.com). It will make filling out forms quicker and easier. You may also want to sign up for another free email account and save it for your sweepstakes entry forms. Once you begin entering a lot of online sweepstakes, you will start receiving more email. Some sweepstakes will require you to sign up for free newsletters and some of that email will be from sponsors of the many contests.
Step4
Read all the rules and make sure you do not have to purchase anything to enter the contests
Step5
If you can enter the sweepstakes more than once, enter it often
Step6
If mailing your entry, use large multi colored envelopes. If dropping your sweepstakes entry form into a box, fold it many times in a n accordion type style. This makes it bulkier and thicker than most of the entry forms.

Tips & Warnings

  • When filling out entry forms, write neatly.
  • Fold all entry forms when dropping into boxes, many times, possibly in accordian type style to make the form thicker.
  • Place entry forms in large, brightly colored envelopes when mailing
  • If you don't get a new email account and you enter a lot of online contests, your current email account could become flooded with mail.
  • If you win a big prize, you will more than likely have to pay any taxes that occurs, such as win you win a large amount of money, a house or a car.
