Things You'll Need:
- ski equipment
- computer with Internet access for research.
- Travel arrangements.
-
Step 1
Decide what you are looking for in a multi-day ski clinic. Some clinics focus on specific skills, such as bumps, steeps and backcountry skiing. Others are more suitable for developing new skills. Some people enjoy gender or age-specific ski clinics.
-
Step 2
Epicski AcademyExplore what perks are offered with registration. Does the tuition include meals, lodging discounts and/or lift tickets? Are there apres ski lectures? Do they offer extras such as free overnight equipment storage. What about an option to demo new equipment or to get a boot fit and stance alignment?
-
Step 3
Research the ski clinic instructor qualifications. Are you impressed? If you are, will these top of the line instructors be working with people of your level, or only with the most advanced students?
-
Step 4
Decide whether you really want to ski at that specific location. What are the costs involved in getting there? Is the clinic conducted at a high-altitude destination? If you live at sea level, this can be a problem. If you have to take a day off to acclimate, you won't get a refund for that day.
-
Step 5
Research the average group size. Even the best instructors can't give an adequate amount of attention to a class filled with 12 students.
