Travel irons are a very convenient way to make sure your clothing is looking it's best when you are away from home. Sometimes though, accidents happen, you may find yourself holding a handle that is no longer attached to the iron itself! Hopefully this will help you easily reunite the handle with it's iron.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • newspaper
  • krazy glue
  • nail polish remover

Step1
Spread out newspaper where you plan on making your iron repairs. Krazy glue bonds very quickly and if precautions are not used, could easily become a big mess.
Step2
Clean and dry both pieces that you are going to be glueing together.
Step3
Try fitting the two pieces together without the glue to make sure you know how they are supposed to go together.
Step4
Apply Krazy glue to one of the peices that are getting glued together. Apply it where it will touch the other peice. Only use one or two drops, a little goes a long way with Krazy glue.
Step5
Press the two peices together and hold firmly for thirty seconds.
Step6
Use the nail polish remover to remove any Krazy glue that you may have gotten on your fingers, or anything else.
Step7
Let dry over night before using the iron.

Tips & Warnings

  • Krazy glue bonds instantly and it is a very strong bond, be careful whenever you use it.
