How to Make a Mango Martini
The classic martini -- shaken or stirred -- is firmly embedded in popular culture thanks to the likes of a host of characters from James Bond to Carrie Bradshaw. If you are looking for a martini on the sweet side, the mango martini may fit the bill. At once tangy and tropical, mango martinis fit in well at cocktail parties, luaus and beach bashes. Things You'll Need
- 1 oz. light rum
- 1 oz. mango-flavored
- 1/2 oz. triple sec
- 1/2 oz. lime juice
- 1/2 oz. cranberry juice
- 2 mango slices
- Small glass
- Blender (optional)
- Martini glass
- Cocktail shake
- Ice
Instructions

In a small glass, mash the mango slices into a puree. If you wish, you can do this in a blender.

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway full with ice.

Add light rum, mango-flavored rum, triple sec, lime juice, cranberry juice and mango puree to the cocktail shaker.

Shake the cocktail shaker and strain into a martini glass.

Garnish with a small mango slice and serve.

Tips & Warnings
For a fiery mango martini, try using chilied mango slices instead.
Two would be enough for the evening!
