How to Use Orbit Download Manager

Quick how-to guide to getting started with Orbit Download Manager. This tutorial uses a Windows computer.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Internet connection

Step1
Install program.

Get it here - http://www.orbitdownloader.com/download.htm
Step2
Run Program.
Step3
If you have an account with any type of download service such as Rapidshare, Megaupload or Megashares - make sure to sign in!!

To do this click - Tools > Preferences > Site Manager. When in "Site Manager" click the "New" button and type in your log-in information.
Step4
Tweak any other settings you need in the "Tools > Preferences" section, such as: maximum number of downloads at one time, exceptions, max amount of bandwidth being used to download files and many more.
Step5
Download files.

To download files, just copy the download link in your Internet Explorer web browser and Orbit will automatically pick it up.
