I had so many pictures of family, friends, vacations, etc. and so many of them I hardly ever get to see because they are stuffed in albums, in boxes or cluttering my wall, so this is what I decided to do.
Make copies of photos.
Make copies of photos that you want to use for this project so that you can keep the originals.
Step2
Frames.
Go to some yard sales to look for large picture frames, if the frame has a picture in it and you don't like the picture, but you do like the frame, buy it, you don't have to keep the picture.
Step3
Trim photos.
Trim all the photos that you want to use for this project into different shapes and sizes, just enough to get rid of excess and unnecessary parts of the picture.
Step4
You can buy one like this, but why?
You can buy frames that are meant for this, but why? you can do it yourself and it will be the way you want it to be. It will also be more original as well as fun to do.
Step5
Craft supplies.
Get all your craft supplies out. Start by cutting a poster board to fit your frame, then tape (with double sided tape) or glue your pictures onto the poster board (be creative). Now all around each picture get crafty with yarn, lace, buttons, stickers, etc.(you can even write things like Melissa's first step, etc.), there is no limit to the things you can do.
Tips & Warnings
I'm making a large one for home and a smaller one for our camp trailer so that we can take some of our memories with us no matter where we go.
This project would also make a great gift for a family member or friend.
Make sure that you make copies of your pictures before you start this project.
