Step1
The first aid to the homeless person is to give him at list some change if he(she) asking to you.
Step2
You can find out if there are some homeless people in your community and you can take him(her) to the shelter.
Step3
Bring them some blankets and some clothes. They all are human and they need to warm sleep during the night and clothes to wear too.
Step4
If you are a philanthropy you can send a donations to the charities that help the homeless people. I understand that big donations is hard to afford but even a small amount of money should be helpful.

on 9/1/2008 I have a limited income and alot of disabilities that keep me from holding a job, so I babysit my grandkids, but now I have no place to live because who I was staying with wants me out and I have no place to go. My family won't even help me. That's how much I am loved. I need a place to go, but I will not go to a homeless shelter, because I will not lose everything that I own. on 11/10/2007 I agree with you. But the situations in which people became homeless is different. Some of them is became homeless when they drunk. But i think that some people had the situation that they lost their jobs so they just not able to pay rent for theirs apartment so they just force to became homeless. When i wrote that we can help them i though about that kind of people. No one is perfect and even the good people can became homeless. Marina.
