Things You'll Need:
- Heart for your self, heart for the players, and heart for the school.
-
Step 1
To be a great player, is to have the ultimate success on the field and off the field.
-When you have success on the field, is an important key to becoming a great player. A player must now everything that is suppose to go down on their side. If they are on offense they should know every position. If they are on defense, they should know every scheme. This is how you become a great player. -
Step 2
A program-changing player has that ability to make the other players play great. The program changer has the talent to weather the storm, over come the odds and win it all. A program changer will be the only person not to ever take credit for his accolades but will be the first to point out how well the team responded in pressure situations.
- A great player makes plays on the field and then lead by example so that his teammates can follow. A great player after being benched for whatever reason will cheer his teammates on just for the love of the other players. A great player makes the normal players look great, not him self look great. -
Step 3
A team leader is a guy that will take no credit for the success of the team. A team leader will take all the blame for the failure of a team. A team leader will put the team before me. For a kid to posses all of these traits will make that kid a hall of famer!
- This is how you become a legend and a Hall a Famer.
- A Hall of Famer: is a guy that will hype up the team and the normal players, just for the intent of success for the team!
- A Hall of Famer is not afraid to say a player on the team is playing bad or good.
- Also that Hall of Famer, will take all the blame for publicity when the hype of the team is not up to par.

on 11/16/2007 I think this is a good article but should be titled "How to be a respectable teammate" or "How to be a leader on the football field"
I don't think you can necessarily become a football "legend" by the provided directions, or reading any directions for that matter. It's about physical and mental ability, leadership, and understanding of the game. It also takes impressing the right scouts, going to the right college before you can even think about becoming a "legend"
