How to Find The Lowest Price Online

If you haven't warmed up to "online shopping" yet consider the benefits versus going to a store. First, it's faster. No driving, no waiting in line, no paying for gas, no pushing, no shoving. With free shipping, online shopping can save you time, money, and wear-and-tear on your car. Instead of driving to several stores to see who has it in stock and how much it costs, there are several websites that show you all the stores that sell a particular product and the price and shipping for each store. Examples include sites like GoSale.com. This way, you will always get the best possible price. For those of you who are weary of using your credit card, paying online is actually safer than paying over the phone or at the store. With phone orders, you must give your credit card information to an actual person. Who is that person? Are they trustworthy? I don't know. At the checkout counter, how many carbon-copy slips are in the credit card swiper machine? Will the cashier keep one for themselves? With online payments, the information is encrypted so that your information is not seen by any human. Even if a human where to see your information, it would not make any sense and would have to be decrypted... a task that is nearly impossible even if you have a mathematics degree from MIT. Secure, safe, easy, environmentally friendly, convenient, and with price comparison websites you will get a better deal than you would find locally. Lets go shopping!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Visit a price comparison website. I will use my favorite, www.gosale.com
Step2
GoSale Search for Garmin Nuvi 660 in the search box, type the manufacturer and model number of the product you are looking for. An example might be "Garmin Nuvi 660" or "Air Hogs RC Heli"
Step3
List of prices for the Nuvi 660, note the various columns for price, availability, and shipping. Once you find the correct product, you will see some product information (images, description, etc) followed by a list of all the stores that sell the particular item. Next to each store, you will notice Price, Shipping, Availability, and a link to add the product to your shopping cart.

The shipping column also includes information on whether the merchant is able to ship with rush delivery (expedited shipping) or if they offer international shipping.

The availabilty column will show you an estimated time that the product will ship out. It also lists, in most cases, how many units are in stock, and also notes from the seller if there are any.
Step4
Once you find the best deal from a reputable store (look for 4-5 star rated stores or "Trusted Stores") then simply click on the price or the "Buy It" link for the offer.
Step5
Next, proceed with the checkout process on the seller's website (or browse for accessories that you might want). Enter your shipping info, credit card info, and your item will arrive by mail.

The whole process should only take 5-15 minutes.
