While the chill of cold weather may be an unwelcome intrusion to a beautiful Fall, thoughts of cuddling with your beloved can take the sting out of any winter’s day. Read below for tips on how to get the most out of your snuggle time.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Smitten Mitten (single glove for two)
  • Hot chocolate
  • Popcorn
  • Movie
  • Television or laptop
  • Blanket
  • Incense or aromatic candles
Step1
Open a window to let a bit of the chill indoors.
Step2
Prepare two steaming mugs of hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows.
Step3
Queue a romantic comedy such as “Sleepless in Seattle” or “Pretty Woman."
Step4
Make popcorn.
Step5
Light incense or aromatic candles.
Step6
Dim the lights.
Step7
Sit close to your honey on the coach and cover yourselves with a blanket.
Step8
With your right hand and his left (or vice versa), slip into a Smitten Mitten glove for two. It is the perfect way to show your affection while staying warm.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you want an even more romantic feel, present your better half with a "thinking about you" card before the movie begins.
  • If you begin to shiver or feel ill, close the window.

on 11/20/2007 This sounds lovely and no movie would even be necessary. That's also is the first time I've heard of the "smitten mitten". Every try to conjugate the verb "to smite"? I haven't either.

I suspect the the male version of this article would be a lot different, starting with turning the heat down instead of opening the window ;)
