Things You'll Need:
- Television
- Video Game Console
- Wireless Controller
-
Step 1
Take out batteries while not using your controller. Even when the system is off or not in use, batteries will still lose power if they’re placed in your wireless controller. After every gaming session, take them out to save money and battery life.
-
Step 2
Keep your controllers in a safe and designated space. With corded controllers, you always know where they are because they're tethered to the system. You don’t have that luxury with the wireless variety, so keep them in the same spot every time.
-
Step 3
Don’t leave controllers on the floor. You may not notice it and end up getting hurt. Remember to keep them out of the way.
-
Step 4
Be careful with movement while playing games. Make sure that you aren’t using any jerky motions in order to keep your controller in your hand. With a system like the Nintendo Wii, make sure that you have your wrist strap on to prevent any accidents
-
Step 5
Keep the controller clean. Pay close attention to cleaning the sensor at the top of the controller. This is what sends the signal to your console. If it gets too dirty, it can hinder your gaming experience.
