Relationships take a lot of hard work. You both have to do your part. Yet, with the ever changing roles, often times we forget about the little things that makes our men feel life men. We get buried up in our own life, in our own responsibilities and at times it is easier to do things ourselves. In the process, our men may not feel as wanted as they first did in the relationship. Think about it. You were you needier when you first met your guy. Did he do more for you than he does now? Part of the reason, he did more was probably because he had more time. Part of the reason, may be because both of you wanted to spend more time together. Now you are older, wiser and many of the things he did, you have found that you can do and may enjoy to do. That is fine. But part of the time, you should step back and make him feel as needed as he was felt in the beginning of your relationship. It is good for his ego and ultimately good for your relationship.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Love

Step1
Don't make it a goal to prove that you can do anything he can do. Yes, maybe you can. Maybe you can also do some of these things better than he can do them. But in the process of proving how tough you are, you may be making him feel less masculine.
Step2
Learn how to ask him for things again. No, this does not mean you should nag him. Instead, praise him. Say something like "honey, I know you are busy, but when you get the chance, I really would like you to do ----"

Also be sure to ask this in a sincere voice.
Step3
Praise him, when he does do something for you. Don't you like it when someone praises you for a job well done? Well, so does your man.
Step4
Show him how much you appreciate him. You can show him with a kiss, with his favorite dinner, with time together, or yes, even with sex.

Tips & Warnings

  • Take the time each day to show your man you also love him
  • Be sure to start each day with a kiss
  • Be sure to end each day with a sincere "I love you."
  • If you don't make your man feel needed, someone else might.
  • Good men are hard to find. We must appreciate the fact that we found one and not take him for granted.
