How to Remove Gum From Hair

So you or someone you know were chewing gum when all of a sudden, a bubble bursts and there's gum everywhere. No worries. There is no need to cut your hair!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • peanut butter
  • comb
  • shampoo
  • water

Step1
Place a blob of peanut butter in the gummed area and rub. Work the gum out using the peanut butter.
Step2
Rinse the hair with warm water, slowly adding shampoo and combing gently.
Step3
Be sure to get all leftover bits of gum and/or peanut butter out of hair before drying.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can use an egg white in place of peanut butter.
