3=1 and 1=3? Is this really true? Does the Trinity belief originate from the Bible?
Does the Bible agree with the Trinity Doctrine? Let's see what The Bible says...
For something to originate from the Bible... it has to have been set forth by word in the Bible. If you cannot find the WORD defining the teaching or doctrine in the Bible... you must then ask yourself, "Where did this word or teaching come from?" If it is not from the word of God... then it can only originate with the word of men. If therefore it is from men... should we believe and teach it to others as truth from the Bible? What did Jesus say about this? Matthew15:9"It is in VAIN that they keep worshiping me, because they teach commands of MEN as Doctrine."
Step2
Now... carefully search through the Bible. Is the word Trinity contained in any scripture? You will find that it isn't. But... does the Bible in any way agree with the Trinity doctrine? How did Jesus refer to himself? There are scriptures where Jesus says he is "one"
with God or in "union" with God. What did he mean? Researching the form of Hebrew and Greek word forms he used when saying this... he meant that he and his Father were of "one mind" or "in agreement with" one
another, but .... as the Apostle Paul says at Philippians 2:6 he NEVER "gave consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be EQUAL to GOD."
Step3
What about earlier in this same scripture when it says that before Jesus came to earth he "existed in God's form". He simply meant he existed as a "spirit person". A verse below, you will see where it says he "existed in slave' s form" on earth. Here he simply meant he existed as a "fleshly person" while on earth.
Step4
And truly we CAN NOT DENY what Jesus said at John 14:28 "...rejoice that I am going my way to the FATHER, because the FATHER is GREATER than I am." You can't be greater than yourself(if Jesus was supposed to be part of an equal Trinity). Jesus always spoke the truth about his position. How sad he is to see people praising him as foremost, when he knows Only His Father(who created him) whose is the only ALMIGHTY GOD, is due such praise. It's the same as if someone were to give you a gift, to give to someone else for them.... then when you delivered the gift.... the person receiving the gift gave you all the credit for the gift which you know came from someone else. You would not allow them to do that... you would make sure they knew who the gift came from.
Step5
Jesus did just that in the word of his FATHER! He wants all to know that he, nor the holy spirit is equal to The Only true God who deserves our praise and honor. And just as his Father gave him life... that same Father gave us life! This is a brief overview to show that clearly, The Trinity Doctrine did not originate from God's word The Bible. Of course as always to understand deeper, especially if we have been taught something contrary all our lives, a deeper and thorough study of the Bible is needed. May we all grow in [John 17:3"...knowlegde of the Only True God, and of the one whom He sent forth, Jesus Christ"](according to the Bible and not according to "the doctrines of men").
Step6
Lastly, take courage! Jesus says at John 14:1 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Exercise faith in God, exercise faith also in me."

Thankyou for your opinion Danielzrib! Though... Jesus on many occassions quoted from different parts of the Bible, he applied it in this case to himself as there were Men who were giving him accalades because of power he'd shown, etc. They confessed to him on many occassions that they did works in his name yet thier actions were hypocrytical and he did not want them indentifying themselves with him! In truth all Jesus spoke came from Jehovah as he said in the BIBLE that nothing comes from his "own initiative, yet from him who sent me." Lastly the end of your comment does nothing but concrete the point of my article. Thankyou! Also all the information came from the Bible ..NO LITERATURE.Even when applied to Jehovah ones sees clearly he is not saying don't worship me. He is saying if you worship me this WAY..it is in VAIN. It may be best to ask questions before making assumations. Thanks, Hu

Be careful about drawing your doctrine from literature. Often, if you read the whole passage, rather than taking it out of context, you'll find that it doesn't mean what the literature implies. For instance, you quote Matthew 15:9, and interestingly Christ is actually quoting Isaiah 29:13. It is a rebuke to men who spoke in Jehovah's name, but their hearts were far from Him. So the quote, "It is in VAIN that they keep worshiping me, because they teach commands of MEN as Doctrine," was actually spoken by Jehovah first. So Jehovah said not to worship Him??Taken out of context, it makes a most blasphemous statement, doesn't it? I suggest we should heed those words from the Lord, and take care that the doctrines we embrace are of God, and not the "commands of men".

This is true! Thankyou for your addition! It further shows Jesus and Almighty God cannot be the same..... since at no point was the true God ever lower than His angels. Only his Son Jesus was!

The gospel of JOHN chapter 1 and in Geneses
chapter 1 "made in our image" In Heb. It says that Christ was made a little lower than the angles... He even had to learn obediance.
